Shahram “Rami” Elghanayan

Prior to founding ENSAF Capital, Rami led the Commercial Real Estate (“CRE”) balance sheet underwriting team at Capital One where his team of 40 underwriters focused on analyzing and structuring multifamily, office, and industrial deals. He implemented a national expansion strategy by standing up nine geographic pods with products that included permanent, bridge, and construction financing. His team managed the CRE portfolio to near zero losses during COVID and closed over $5+ billion in volume across 100+ deals annually after COVID. Previous to that he headed a portfolio analytics team consisting of 25 data scientists and business analysts covering credit risk data, analytics, technology and strategy.

He graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Economics from Harvard and has a passion around workforce/affordable housing and financial literacy.
